  • Formed official governing committee and elected officials – September 2014
  • Founded a programming club at The Bush School – November 2014
  • Organized The Bush School’s participation in Hour of Code – December 2014
  • Launched website and social media pages – January 2015
  • Hosted a Techathon (similar to a hackathon, but more diverse) – 9 October 2015
  • Host a local contribution to the Global Youth Summit – 5 December 2015

Working Towards

  • Establish consistent content for our website
  • Host an event that brings together students and tech industry leaders to explore the cutting-edge technology being developed around them

Long Term Goals

  • Host an annual conference/symposium/hackathon
  • Gain 501(c)3 Non-Profit Status
  • Create an online community/resource where teens can share ideas and learn about technology-related opportunities in the Pacific Northwest
  • Work with independent and public schools in Washington to help them implement more technology-related learning into their curricula
  • Set up a free public makerspace
